   InXochi-Floreciendo con la tierra

"flourish in your true nature"

Flourishing is the process of life. Everything on  Earth allows for flourishing: the plants, the trees, the animals, and we human beings flourish in history through our works and actions. The way we feel, how we express and interpret life in daily events also tells us how we are flourishing. Yet we may ask ourselves, how can we flourish in a world of chaos where we struggle to find our space in societies and families? Among the most beautiful flowers the lotus is used as a symbol and archetype in ancient cultures and societies, and it also grows among the darkest swamps. Native flowers of the American continent, xempaxuchitl, cacaloxochitl, cutlaxochitl (marigolds, poinsettias, plumerias) grow in the most precarious conditions and yet they flourish.

The art of  words,  thoughts and actions are a reflection of the art of living, and growing. In order to grow we need light, our purposes and visions offer that light and brings the air that our flower needs to grow and iluminate the universe. Only then we meet our purpose of being part of the beautiful creation and evolution of life. The Earth, our cosmic mother,  where our ancestors deposited their faith and hope most flourish because that is her nature. We as her children, in company with all living species,  plants, and animals are meant to flourish with her. Our task is then, to overcome the battle to reach material resources, recognize their true value and live in grattitude  with what we have.

RETREATS

InXochi Floreciendo con la Tierra, Journeys, provide the space and time to rebuild our relationship with our surroundings, including family members, friends community, as well as our social and global relationships . InXochi journeys allows for restoration of our bodies and souls that threaten to retreat in chaotic situations. Our spirits may feel dislodged, like we have left something behind, then it’s essential to go back, to discover our true nature and then reconcile with that moment when our spirit left our body. It may seem like our soul is not there with us and by not listening or calling her we can get stuck in what our true purpose is. In Xochi journeys brings us experiences where we also feel safe to redicover ourselves. Through cleansings, herbal baths, Temazcal ceremonies, movement, breathing and  meditation techniques a journey of self-exploration and rebirth is acomplished.

~A intimate gathering of 7 individuals~

When its time to restore and rejuvenate, our medicine is there and mother earth calls us to retreat. The universe teaches and provides our body, mind and spirit to become whole. We can only experience wholeness through connection with ourselves, nature and community. Estela Roman guides us in a retreat where we can all learn, enjoy the beauty and blessings nature provides for us. while we learn about the mysteries of the soul. During the retreat Estela will assist us in finding ourselves through the reflection of ancient knowledge practiced by the Aztecs, Mayas and many indigenous groups of Mexico. This retreat is a journey to bring us back together when we have been repressed with burdens, fears, sadness for what we experience, either from our own loses or from the energy we share with clients.

This Retreat is designed for health practitioners who want to explore more on the mysteries of the Soul, Mind, and Body from an indigenous mind perspective. It's designed for practicing healers/curanderos and those who have great interest and/or have a background in curanderismo, herbal medicine, or other indigenous and spiritual healing practices.

Our intention is to create a space for advancing the knowledge and skills of those committed to a spiritual and indigenous healing practice or path. It's also an opportunity to hone our skills as caretakers and offer great possibilities to restore, renovate and expand our vision as we share our wealth of experiences as healers and engage in hands on experiences of self-healing while we support the healing of others. This journey will deepen our understanding on the practice of different forms of healing in Mexico.

The program will be carried out in a beautiful, recently built small resort in Zihuatanejo. Talks and healings will be facilitated on the beach. The retreat will allow space and time to engage in self-healing practices including: ceremonies in Temazcal, herbal baths, spring-water cleansing, dreamwork, healing and restoring massage, healing foods and more. We will also make space for individual and group reflection with the guidance of Estela Roman who will perform most of the teachings.
